Think about what you liked doing when you were a child and try out some of those things again, you may enjoy it. Just because you stopped doing something doesn’t mean you don’t like it.

I am pregnant and don’t feel pregnant most of the time. I’m only 6 weeks so have to wait awhile before any visual confirmation. And then you worry about all the ones after that before 24 weeks or so. How do you cope? I am trying to be positive. I’ve had a miscarriage before so I’m nervous as well. I try some calming meditation and things like head massages but that lasts an hour tops!!

I’d like some independent views please, on a financial decision my wife and I are about to make. We’re looking to buy our first/dream home and the property is valued at $1.25m. We have savings of $250k and our HHI is c$350k, with no debt. We will probably exhaust our savings on the deposit and closing costs. A $1m with mortgage at 6% with property taxes is c$8k/month. I have a student who only comes to school two days a week and then only for 1 hour. He tells me I have to pass him so it doesn't matter. This is very frustrating. I knew this student hates school and often states he is stupid. I just do my best to encourage him. Build confidence. Any ideas to encourage him more? By the way, taking to his parent does nothing.

Wife is 35 weeks pregnant and recently tested positive for Covid. Symptoms are mild to moderate. Doctor’s say no impact to baby if symptoms continue to remain under control. My father had a sever case of Covid and he made it out successfully. I’m very grateful for this. Close to a year down the line, I’m finding that he is having severe memory loss issues and can’t remember significant details. Has anyone experienced or is experiencing this? How have y’all dealt with it?

I know everyone will have different answers for this but how did you know it was time to get sober? I think it might be time for me to find a new job and pursue sobriety, but I don't feel like I'm a rock bottom which is the only time I've ever seen people really commit to it (my father). Apathy isn't the right word but I just kind of feel numb about everything and I think being sober would maybe help.
