Thinking of leaving consulting for an opportunity within industry. The only reason I’m thinking of taking the job is for the company, title on resume and the extra $$. However the role seems like a position where I’ll be more busy but learning less. Seems like a lot of busy work and less project management and value add work. What decision would you make?

However, I'm really interested in technical program management or project management and I'm looking for any advice on how to get there bc I've been applying, but can't even seem to get a call back.

26M here looking into a micro-buyout opportunity in the Digital Asset Management SaaS space (library document management).

The buyout is projecting 8.9x cash on cash returns and IRR of ~53%. Entry valuation $5M (3.2x ARR), expected exit valuation $24.8M (5x ARR). Currently 38% ebitda margin, forecasted 55% in exit year - 5 year holding period

The minimum is $50k. Is it dumb to spin up an SPV with a few friends to invest in this? I know the GP of the acquiring firm.

Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.
