Current job:
- advisory at mid size acct firm, 2 YOE
- pros: great relationship with my partner, lots of opportunity to lead/manage projects, promotion in sept
- cons: have had two horrible/toxic managers in a row, feel underpaid, not learning fast enough
Potential job:
- AVP at a name brand bank
- pros: culture seems good, similar work to what I’ve done but more things to learn being on bus side
- cons: 2 days in person, the unknown

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm TC2 at Deloitte w. 2 YOE and MAcc. Working on CPA exam. Some of my team peers moved to Capital One as Senior Business Analyst and it seemed good to me too. Recently I was contact by Cap One. The recruiter asked me if I'm interested in- Analyst/ Associate/ Risk Manager roles at Commercial bank (related to real estate or credit). Those roles require 1-3 YOE, but not Master's or CPA. Does anyone know if above positions are as competitive as SBA?
