Please sell work. Do calls early morning. One of my former bosses would lock himself into a tiny conference room every day 8:30 -12, to force himself to make sales calls. Review decks later in the day. Focus is on sales. Others are depending on you.

Forcing myself to focus on a single task for a select bucket of hours is a great idea.
Sales is good right now. Work is sold, my entire staff is staffed between six engagements with the soonest end date in six months. I’ve delayed additional hiring for the time being.
Do not try to bring focus. Try to get involved in something. If you are deeply involved in something, focus naturally comes. Where there is no involvement, if you try to bring focus, it will be torture; focus will not come.
Your mind and emotions need a single object to focus on. If both of them stay with the same object, you are at maximum ease. If your body goes in one direction, your mind goes in another, and your emotions go in yet another direction, you will be struggling. Let’s say you have a job that you are very involved with, a family at home, and an affair on the side, you will be in a lot of mess – never at ease. Only if your body, mind, and emotions are focused in one direction, you will be at total ease.
Nothing and no one – neither your job nor your wealth nor your family nor your love affair – are as reliable as your breath. As long as you live, it will always be there. It is the most steady and reliable thing to focus your mind on, especially in the time we are experiencing right now.

1) have dedicated space - if available
2) working in dead silence is tough. You don’t realize the white noise around you at the office but put on some instrumental music or something you know can just run in the background
3) schedule breaks - 5 minutes here and there to get up and move
4) have a good morning routine before work - get the mind in the right place
5) take an actual lunch break, and step outside if the weather is decent
...these all work for me generally, but can’t say they work for all

Set a timer for 50 minutes to focus on work, 10 minutes to stand up, get snacks, bio break, start laundry, etc. Repeat through the day. Make a list for each day with both work tasks and home tasks.
I focus more listening to music, use podcasts when doing tasks that require less focus. Find what works for you. Some people need silence—I get distracted far more with silence than music.
No it varies depending on my schedule/conference calls. Once I get myself focused, I can go hours without stopping/standing up so I use the timer as a reminder to stretch.
