No episiotomy, but i did naturally tear and it took some time to heal. Lots of transverse abdominis breathing and kegals!
Yes but if you can, specify in your birth plan that you’d rather tear naturally (If needed) or ensure your partner/doula advocates for you in that moment. It all happened so fast that I felt like I didnt have an option. It healed but it took me about 6 months to feel completely normal again.
