Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

They will ask you some questions in your exit interview - I would pay close attention to what they're writing down when you respond. I left on my own accord, good terms, gave 2 weeks, etc. and when I was in my exit interview the HR person was completely twisting what I saw about my experience! I think they wanted to make a case since my account had high turnover, but I didn't want to burn any bridges so I kept my answers very polite and PC. I could see what she was writing and actually said "I'm sorry, but those are not my words. I don't want what I'm saying to be translated into what you're interpreting." Keep an eye out!
You only sign the the acknowledgment paperwork about your insurance/life/cobra/401k/etc transfer/termination, that’s about it. If there were any non-competes, you probably signed them before you even started working at your current agency.
Thanks for the help guys. Went great. No bad blood or weirdness. Leaving on good terms. No bridges burned.

are you being terminated or leaving on your own accord ?
for the latter - not much you should have to sign other than acknowledging they gave you certain documents.
be wary of signing any non-compete or non-solicit.
Leaving in my own accord. We’re on good terms. I gave them three weeks notice. Not worried but you never know. I’ve heard good and bad things.
