1) Any thoughts on ARA at Deloitte? I see it is under the audit practice, but not wanting to stay in audit. Will there be a lot of crossover? I am wanting to move into an advisory role.
2) I was referred as a senior but now the recruiter that contacted me "feels" and after running it by "the team in [office I am applying to] that I am better suited to be a senior assistant. Should I contact the person that referred me? The person that referred me is a manager.

Does anyone have any insight into partners retiring early? I am at a point where I need to consider leaving if I am not aiming for partner. I don’t see myself working past my 40s. Only senior on a demanding client, managing multiple staff and managers. I really like my team and the work but I’m starting to lose motivation and burn out after the long time being the only one in my position here... and I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but feels like I don’t get fairly paid for the amount of time and effort I put in... any advice to get out of this negative mindset?
