Two years out of college and looking to transfer to a management role. The kicker is that I don't have Professional management experience. I'm highly confident in my skills and know I can do the job - I've managed projects in a volunteer capacity, and created multiple successful initiatives and programs on my own time - but none in the paid office space. Is the lack of professional experience going to be a nail in my coffin, or could the years of personal experience be enough to be considered?
