Hello 🐠- first time home buyer and closing is in next 45 days. Have a decent Credit score (757) and Worried with fluctuating bond yields/ interest rates . Any suggestions on how to research for better lenders with less interest rates. Searching online gives too many confusing results. My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.
