Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. Do they have enough projects or will I be asked to move to a different technology? Will I be fired if on bench? Nagarro

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.

As I’ve always been told either leave within the first six months (sooner the better) or stick it out for 2+ years. If you leave within six months just explain it’s a bad fit and extinguish it from your LinkedIn and resume. (Never done it but if I ever take a bad job then that is what I’ll do.)
Funny enough I’m thinking of doing the exact same thing. The way I see it, maybe can say it’s from a lay-off due to Covid? First in, first out.
At least secure another job before you leave. Also analyze if you are happy in consulting in general, may be time for you to explore other avenues.
Already left consulting a while back - was in industry previously and am now in another industry job
What has changed so you won't be desperate again next week?
I went into this job knowing it wasn’t exactly what I wanted to do, but there was overlap. Sort of got baited and switched, and am now just doing a lot of mindless dashboards and editing sql queries while I was doing more pure strategy previously
Find something new and leave. But this time, investigate your next job more carefully so you don't want to quit again in the first month. You have an income now so you may be safe for the near future.
Leave it off for now, unless it is uniquely relevant for the roles you are targeting. Put it on in September to show that you're in demand (long term unemployment looks bad).
OP, in a climate that we are in, it is never too soon or late to move. If you can find another job that is a good fit (and it better be that), just move. There is no logic to the time frame that you should spend in any job as long as you have a rationale to explain your period of stay.

Leave if you can. It’s tough out here.

I think it's fair to question, but only one month in as well right? Any chance you can get to the work you actually want to do?
