We have learned a lot about how to treat animals in the last 15 years. Before, we had to put pets to sleep for things today we only apply a lifelong treatment. I feel that we have advanced a lot, but that does not prevent me from thinking about all those lives we still lose. We need more veterinary researchers.

I think that it is great that we have learned how to treat animals in the last 15 years, but I also think that we need to continue to research ways to help animals. There are still a lot of animals that lose their lives due to illnesses or other conditions, and I believe that we can do better.

We definitely need more veterinary researchers so that we can find new and better ways to treat animals and help them live longer, healthier lives.

All our work is not done yet but at least medicine and technology have come far enough to allow us to work comfortable and helping animals in ways we actually can. I am so glad that I am a part of this industry,

I am trying to practice a version of intuitive/mindful eating - honoring my body’s hunger cues and not sticking to a timeline or plan as to what and when to eat. But tbh years of “dieting” has screwed over my ability to recognize hunger cues. I suddenly realize my hunger after not eating for 10+ hours and then I’m ravenous and would just eat anything. Anyone dealt with this have any recommendations? TIA

Asking for a friend:
My friend received two job offers for Account Executive roles: a Mid-Market role with Confluent and an Enterprise role with ThoughtSpot. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.
