We have learned a lot about how to treat animals in the last 15 years. Before, we had to put pets to sleep for things today we only apply a lifelong treatment. I feel that we have advanced a lot, but that does not prevent me from thinking about all those lives we still lose. We need more veterinary researchers.

I am trying to practice a version of intuitive/mindful eating - honoring my body’s hunger cues and not sticking to a timeline or plan as to what and when to eat. But tbh years of “dieting” has screwed over my ability to recognize hunger cues. I suddenly realize my hunger after not eating for 10+ hours and then I’m ravenous and would just eat anything. He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales.
