I heard my senior tell someone that they "don't see why Trump is being hated on so much. I actually think things are getting better since he's been in office". So, some of my co-workers simply said that they want to go ahead and start something or start looking elsewhere (career change) because they don't know how much it will last at the pace we are going in regards to case intake and pay out. Should I start panicking or simply start looking elsewhere? They even they even told me if I was looking elsewhere or planned on doing so also. I found it weird in a way.

I made a couple errors at a new job. An important document to be distributed had wrong information on it, which was proofread by 2 other people. Then a couple of typos in emails, the person micromanaging me told me to send out but I didn’t fix the errors. Failed to meet a deadline but completed 95%. I was written up over all this last week, fired this week. There’s a lot more to this but I think it’s because the DM doesn’t like me.

Is there any good reason to take a 10+ minute call in a bathroom stall at work? Noticing people doing this as RTO ramps up and I really don’t understand why you wouldn’t go outside or at least in your car.

What type of background check do HF/PE/VC forms so these days? Employment, education and felonies are a given (I think) but is fingerprinting and drug testing still in the mix? How about credit score?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

So a higher up made a new rule that for a service we offer , we have to offer it to the customers three times and If they say no a manager has to get involved and document. it is this not wrong?
