I made more than that as a staff in NYC

like

You want me to continue on how shitty it was?

like

Let's just saying it's a 100 less than 66.5K

like

Op more details... size of market/location? What percentage was the raise. Getting 64.9k as a new senior would be good in low COL like south east, but bad in Northeast

like

What % raise was that? That is low for NYC. PWC 1, you guys take an extra year to make S1 (3 years), so low to mid 60s is about right for S1 at Deloitte (2years) in the south east

like

S1 in ny 66 ? You're on the low end.

like

Not worth it. Leave New York.

like

Leave big 4 is more like it. You could work at joes pizza shop and make 66

like

Go on.

Yes, with Details

NYC FSI with good ratings

66.4k*

Senior in NY even an S1 is extremely underpaid.

Made more than that as an S1 in southeast market

It doesn't make sense what they base the raise on. My scatterplot was really good compared to a lot of my peers. But then a lot of my peers raise was within that 8-9% range. BS...

W/ 66k i think you fall on the lower end in terms of rating.

Well I don't know I guess you know more about my scatterplot than me...

Ask your peers about their comp so you know where you fall. I thought average S1s were 67 LAST YEAR?

The partner said audit didn't make money this year. Someone got even below that. I am at 9% without CPA. the partner said if I had CPA I would have made a little more.

What did you start at, 45? Lol

I think I’m going to contact a bunch of legal recruiters and tell them I’m looking to hire, set a bunch of calls just to take up their time, then reveal that I’m not really hiring after all. Just had the most unprofessional experience with a recruiter who bait and switched a position just to set a call and then hung up in the middle without calling back. What a waste of time.

First year in a v10 corporate group. Wondering if billable hour “hoarding” is a thing? As in, my group is busy, there’s seemingly lots of work to go around, and I’ve only gotten positive feedback so far, but this month I’ve gotten relatively few assignments. Wondering if that could be related to seniors/mids wanting to hit billable targets for themselves?
