What are good time investments to land a PM role? I’m currently a management consultant and want to transition to PM. Given the many rejections, I am looking for ways to upskill (and considering to quit my current job and dedicate ~6 months to learning how to code through courses/boot camps). Do you guys have any perspective on how helpful it can be to learn to code? Are there any other skills that you think I should invest in learning?

Is it ok to tell your boss/job that you're looking to transition to product, and tell recruiters you're looking for roles in product before you've quit your other job?
