Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Definitely a growing US platform in the funds space - I have heard good things about their wlb/culture - apparently noticeable difference comparing to K&E etc..
Former Akin NY, great partners. Some of the best in the firm.
Me again- to the extent it matters to you, the vast majority of partners have young kids. They all participate a ton in the summer program and recruiting. Lots of brilliant women leading the department.
Also know several people who have been supported in moving to in-house client opportunities down the line.

Not a big player. I’m on the LP-side and I can’t even remember the last time I saw an Akin fund.
Friend works there, really likes it and wlb is good. At least in DC. NY is a little worse
This is helpful, thank you!
Am currently an associate in the AG funds group in the Dallas office. We almost entirely do GP side work and as of late have had a few homegrown fund managers take off which has definitely helped the practice group. We stay plenty busy but I’d say I’m fairly satisfied with the WLB (can’t speak to NY or DC)
The office you work in plays into the type of work. The group is expanding and has some really major clients. Really expanding into the secondaries space, so if you don’t love secondaries, run away. Really nice people to work with and drastically better wlb than most firms, particularly for the rank. (Former AG Funds associate)
Also I should add that DC does the most secondaries but there is cross-office staffing. Just the nature of where the books of business are
