Many veterans go on to use their GI Bill benefits to further their education on a field of their choice.

Many universities offer various resources and support services specifically catered towards veterans, such as veteran’s clubs and organizations dedicated to helping veterans transition from military to civilian life. There are also several programs available that specialize in helping veterans find jobs within their chosen industry which can make for a smoother transition into civilian life

Many service members find success in leveraging the skills they developed during their time in the military to gain employment with businesses that serve veterans, transition into government roles such as law enforcement or political office, and even apply for jobs related to their area of expertise such as logistics or intelligence.

For those who appreciate entrepreneurial pursuits, there are also numerous resources and mentorship programs available to guide them through the process of starting a successful business venture.

With the experience and training gained from serving in the military, discharged veterans can find a variety of career paths that best suit their skillset. From transitioning into civilian roles such as logistics and management, to joining an apprenticeship program in order to gain specialized training in fields like IT or engineering, there are numerous options available for ex-servicemembers looking to take their career to the next level.

I will be relocating out of state from NY to FL in December. My current role does not allow flexibility to work remote and our offices in FL have no tech roles for transfer. I’ve been applying and interviewing with no luck and multiple rejection as it seems hiring has slowed down. Anyone know of companies hiring? I would love to connect.

Hi all,
I graduated during Covid with a double major in business administration and business management with a minor in marketing and magically ended up in sales because I needed a job. I’m about to take a data analytics course to make an attempt to break into that field. I’m currently looking for a mentor to help guide me during this time. Also, if anyone is willing to look over my resume and give me tips on how to make it more presentable for recruiters in DA that would be very helpful. Thanks

I have a business idea in the VR/AR space utilizing AI. However, I lack skill sets to evaluate viability or to create an MVP. Neither do I have a network to tap into.

My plan is taking classes to deepen my knowledge while joining and actively participating in communities to find collaborators.

Does this approach make sense or do you recommend other approaches? If it makes sense, do you have any recommendations for classes or communities?

Look forward to hearing your experiences and wisdom!

In talks with A&M to come over to their TAG practice from EY FDD as senior associate. Base salary is very competitive on top of the alluring "bonus" structure. 2 questions:

1. Do they normally offer sign on bonuses?
2. Is their any disadvantage between A&M FDD compared to B4 FDD in terms of exit ops down the road? Trying to look 5 years down the line

Would appreciate any insight!

COO’s & previous SR. account executives…

I made it to regional manager for a franchise by age 22. Ran a successful financial practice & sold by the age of 33. Took 2 years off and built a health & wellness coaching platform for my wife (medical provider). Then, the last 2.5 yrs, have been a top producer in Saas sales as a senior account executive. I’ve been told I would make a great COO someday and I’m ready to take the next step into leadership. Who/what should I be targeting next?

A question from a youngster. Is working at a big big company with slightly low pay better or working at a much smaller company with higher pay better?

In the future, after a few years, let’s say I’m at a small company and want to switch to big big company, will the “small names” hurt my chance to get into the big doors?

I mean big big company is like 10x bigger than the small one if this was a factor. Assume everything else the same, WLB, commute, teams, etc.
