RSM1 - you are kinda proving PWC1’s point that people in RSM NY office are stiff and terrible atmosphere. So, you might want to stop here if you want to build your case that RSM is great!
You don’t work at RSM
RSM1 certainly a person knows what their own experience at a particular firm was, even if you’ve had a different experience
Fight! Fight! Fight!🥊
RSM 1 - I know how to talk about my experience and certain managers there throwing seniors under the bus. Maybe you and I didn’t work on the same jobs, so how can you say I don’t know what I’m talking about? Every partner I worked with was not chilled out at all. Sorry for answering OP’s question honestly based on MY experience .
Need to screencap that last post from RSM1. First time in history someone was accused of faking their employment at friggin McG. 😂
KPMG1, at least our firm’s partners aren’t going to prison 😂
PWC1 what is RSMs commercial group also known as?
I have no idea nor do I care. I have nothing to prove. As I said in my last post, OP asked for opinions and I gave mine based on my experience. Your experience was different, so your opinion is different .
I’m confused, why are you coming at me because I told OP what it was like for me there? I’m not allowed to have an opinion ?
Hours were actually the best part of it. FS side just seemed more laid back and better atmosphere. I knew a couple people that transferred to FS while I was there and they were much happier .
Commercial Audit was terrible in my opinion. Partners were very stiff, managers push everything on seniors, atmosphere was basically sink or swim. I hear FS Audit is much better, but I chose to jump ship rather than transfer .
PwC culture is way better from top to bottom. I work with people that care about my development and don’t try to push off all the responsibilities on seniors. I do work a lot more and even took a pay cut to do it, but I don’t regret it at all.
First of all we don’t even call it the ‘commercial group’. You are former RSM if you know what it’s called...
Pwc1 seems to not know anything he is talking about.
I work in the NYC office as an audit manager in the commercial audit group. Partners are all chilled out and trust their staff to make the right decisions.
Feel free to DM me and we can talk if you have more questions.
You didn’t even work at RSM.
were your hours terrible? what was the impression from the FS side culture wise - more lax? overworked? “privileged”?
thanks, how different is your experience at PwC vs RSM?
Cool. Called non fs is you worked at RSM...
