Moving to atl- what are typical 1x1 rent prices?
EY recruiting is such a mess. Applied and did a pre-recorded video interview, heard nothing for like 3 weeks. Then I get a random call saying they liked me and would I be available to attend an interview the following day. I say yes but never receive an email or additional details. Call back the number and it goes to voicemail. The following week I get a rejection email. Just so frustrating EY

mandatory retirement is at age 60 - unable to comment on maximizing the pension question
Those aren’t the same question. Partner retirement age and how long til one vests on the partnership are different things.
Pretty much 50 most places, though I know a guy at KPMG who did it later than that.
This question comes up a lot, always followed by “what does ‘worth it’ mean to you?”
BDO. Kpmg mandatory retirement age is 60. You can be asked to stay on longer but standard firmwide is 60
Deloitte max is 62
Pretty certain this is the case at PWC as well. Their retirement age is 60, though, so hard stop at 50.
At PwC, I believe I heard you need to stay 10 years to vest fully
Not sure but at Deloitte two partners I know of aged out and then went to work for RSM. Both are around 65
KPMG mandatory retirement age is 62. So 52 is the latest.
I know that the pension get better if you stay longer but you can definitely stop or leaving before 10 years of service as partner at KPMG. I know a partner who is planning to retire at 55
EY no longer has a partner no qualified plan. Just a different cash balance. So it really doesn’t matter.
