What can we as a workforce of consultants do to combat this pandemic if/when our pipelines begin to dry up (assuming we aren’t just laid off)?

I have a meeting with my manager and the title of the invite is "Career discussion". Today, I tried asking if it was my feedback review. He just said "it's a much higher level discussion". Me fired?

PwC FS - do you guys know how they're determining layoffs? People who are in projects are getting the boot which is scary. Apparently there will be more rounds and this week was just the beginning.
