They literally manage that office, like all the logistics

They most likely manage junior generalist recruiting

I know 2 people that work at BCG. One works internally and the other is part of some other department.

No, you cannot easily move from an internal role into a consulting one at BCG, easily. Because both of theee people had the same idea as you and they failed

Unless you have an undergrad/MBA degree or a skill set from a high ranked program.

I’m client facing but at a different firm

Wait like the Office Leader of that city? By Managing Partner do you mean MDP?

If an MBB firm doesn’t hire you for a client facing position you are better off keeping whatever client facing position you have at a less prestigious firm than taking a back office role at MBB, so many people get burned by doing this.

Are you talking about the Head Office?

No

They are in charge of the country/region and physical office location all aspects, so community building, making sure the global agenda is being executed locally, hiring strategy and numbers aligned with regional and global priorities, logistics, mobility etc.

They are also normal partners or senior partners and their full time job on top of this.

That being said… I’m going to feel bad leaving this new job so soon. I’m sure they’ll be disappointed and maybe even angry… is there any way to NOT burn bridges on my way out of this current job?

I work in a firm that is known for litigation defense. I’ve been developing my own plaintiffs practice as well. I am able to pay the bills with my hourly defense work, which gives me time to focus on a handful of high value PI case a year on contingency. I was recently negotiating a case and was told part of the reason the claims rep/OC was jerking me around was because they didn’t see me as a plaintiffs attorney. Is there any way to change this perception or does it just come over time?

Currently at a super conservative defense firm. I do really well but keep getting the criticism that I tend to just do things on my own initiative. I’m just predisposed to being decisive and rather autonomous. Besides being a solo atty, where would this skillset be better suited? Plaintiffs work?

Looking for advice. These are the highest priority offers I am holding and around 15 days NP left now. I am planning to finalise the company from these offers. Help me with the selection based on Job Security, WLB, Designation Offered, Growth(both learning and financial), Brand Value etc. TIA.

There are lot of mixed reviews about Nagarro.. some folks are saying Nagarro do not fire even in covid the only did the pay cuts and did not fire anyone... where as some folks are saying Nagarro is hiring rigorously more than their projects strength so firing will happen for sure and if you are on bench for more than 1 month you are in red zone as the same happened in past... what is the mystery.. can anyone from Nagarro an honest review about this organization.
