What do strategy positions within health systems do? e.g. director of strategy...I work in HC strategy now and am curious how similar the roles/responsibilities are.

How bad does it look to quit my job without anything else lined up? I’m 28 with 175k saved up and have 5 years of work experience at a top rating agency (at S&P). I’m honestly a bit lost and just want to travel for 3-6 months and then pivot to something else. I’m just burned out and I think that quitting and taking a beat would really help. I can’t take a sabbatical and still be employed because I already took time off for health reasons.

When I started at a big advertising agency 12 years ago, every young single person was dating someone from the agency. Some of them grew into serious relationships and one of them got married. Today, people are scared to hold eye contact with someone of the opposite gender on the chance it makes uncomfortable. Agency hours and life are challenging to mental health as it is. I think it’s wrong to forbid romantic relationships at work. What does everybody else think?

How is working as a workday or oracle implementations technology consultant? Specifically: WLB, how complex and interesting are the projects, what technologies outside of the erp do you interact with: Cloud (if so what types?) or programming? Also if you had the option to start again would you go into this type of work again?
