What do the base and bonus structure and figures look like for the post MBA level at MBB? At Y1, Y2, Y3, and so on through the EM/PL levels.

Any thoughts on what a typical manager salary should be? Associates all start at 75 at BSR but managers fluctuate. Is 120k on par with other firms? 2 years experience in consulting, 5 industry, MA, and a subject matter expert. Is expecting a 45k jump with a promotion crazy?

I’ve been poor my entire life and on my own since I was 16. I worked really hard to get to a managment position in a statewide foundation. I’m in a lot of debt from putting myself through college and I feel like no matter how hard I work I can’t get ahead. I think because I’m poor I often ended up getting underpaid because the salaries sounds like a lot of money to me. I found out I’m being paid way below my industry salary range and I just feel like a loser.

I regret choosing Deloitte India over USI, salary is same but i liked the clarity of my leadership team, which is still the same they are awesome, but USI people are getting many benefits, on time Hikes and appraisals, but i don't get all of those, which is kinda depressing.

I work in industry and I’m on a project now where a Senior Partner and Partner are on most our calls and seem very involved in delivery. The EM takes point on the deck but less on client relationships. I used to work at Big 4 and honestly our partners were rarely involved.
