Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

I think each has slightly different names but probably not SM unless you’ve been doing more people management and commercial/sales work. I believe they all have more “expert” type roles that are equivalent level but have different titles

From a hiring perspective, Salesforce views its levels as analogous to B4 (I.e. Sr. Mgr B4 gets hired as L8 in Salesforce proserv). I believe the reverse is generally true, though when I went from Deloitte > Salesforce, I was a Specialist Master (manager) who went to L8. However, you're correct, a Salesforce L8 is generally not comparable to a B4 Sr. Manager in duties, mostly because of Salesforce's own organizational dysfunction.
