Bain & Company What is the current state of hiring for "experienced hire" roles (1-2 yrs of professional experience) in US offices? Are there still hiring freezes / should I wait to apply to have a better chance?

Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.

Accenture - interviewing for Asset Management - Consultant. Coming from industry, made it onto ‘Skills Interview’ website makes it out to be an in-depth resume review. Any additional info on the process. Also, any tips moving forward in interview process, especially given industry - consulting transition. Thanks!
Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.

Expert roles? Probably not enough YOE and frozen. Generalist roles, probably not hiring experienced folks for these with how start dates have been pushed back already.
Not good
Basically frozen until year end
Not hiring anything less than Manager levels at specific practices.
We probably have some associate roles open
Suggest to wait
That is not experienced hire, you would still join as a BA
BA applications open early July
You’re probably better off getting your MBA if you want to make the switch. For your profile (1-2 YOE but not in consulting), campus recruiting would be the main way in, especially right now when EH recruiting is generally frozen
