About tree-fiddy
Woah woah woah ^ hol' up that's a game changer. What level do your MBA's come in at?
Hahah yeah seriously Parthenon, that's waaaaaay above market. SC out of MBA avg is 145. Some a little less even
Not sure why this is news, all starting salaries listed on ManagementConsulted
175-200
Yes, A1 is correct, but bonus is an additional 20-40%. Parthenon starting base for MBAs is way higher than MBB to try to convince people to join over MBB.
What is your current level equivalency and ultimate end goal (make partner or go to industry)? I would expect to possibly be bumped down a level moving over to MBB. And if you want to make partner, you have limited time to build your network as a principal.
Haha yea I honestly hope you're right @PY1 but I don't see how you can bill your clients to pay for your MBAs
BCG is very transparent internally about salary, everyone at each level makes the same. Only way to get a higher salary is to negotiate for a higher position / tenure.
Also remember that you'll probably save more since BCG has better perks (health insurance, phone reimbursement)- small things but they add up. Not always about cash!
All in comp is 250-300
^ Are you sure? We pay our consultants (fresh out of MBA) 170+30 signing. That number feels odd given that I imagine bcg is highly competitive
MBAs come in as consultant (same title as bcg Bain). 2 years to "CTL" or "project leader". Our undergrads get 90+10. Management consulted has these numbers so I don't feel like in divulging anything confidential lol
Recruiter who reached out to me for this role said that starting salary is around 200. Should I ask for more? I'm currently around $170
Thanks BCG1. I have 15+ yrs experience and an Ivy League MBA. Should I aim for Principal instead of PL?
Health insurance is amazing
Damn @PY1, I knew my raise last year was good because last year because your group got paid more, but I didn't realize how MUCH more
A1 and BCG1 are correct
