Associate. Years ago JD/LLMs would sometimes be brought in as senior associates, but that’s long past.
You will get a comp premium for the degree. JD with no LLM in M&A should be 100-110 in larger markets. Real estate would be considerably less.
Current M&A intern, as far as grades go all they wanted was me to be above the 3.0 minimum but they did care about the classes I took. I am doing my JD/LLM and have taken a lot of tax classes which helped me a lot. As far as for what you should apply for the job title will usually say JD/LLM in the listing. Had a couple colleagues graduate with their JD/LLM and go into M&A tax in the Big4 and they started at around 120K and got a signing bonus as well.

Associate, unless you had experience prior to law school - despite having a JD, there will still be catch up to do to in understanding other technica issues, the industry, etc.
