Where they think the company going in the next 6 months, year, 5 years. How they view legal (e.g., partner, cost center, roadblock). How they currently work with legal? How they like issues escalated? Risk tolerance? Budgeting? Views on OC?

Well said. All of these and “what’s the biggest challenge facing company today & on the horizon.”

I think have a couple of questions for them but this isn’t the time to deep dive with them. Be prepared to show you know your role and how you fit into the organization. Show them through examples that you understand you’ll be a partner to them and will work to enable the business goals and not be a barrier, etc.

Joined a new firm at the start of this year but it’s not a good fit and I want to leave for a different role type. Will it look bad to potential employers if I leave this company after 6 months? I was with my prior employer for 2.5 years before this.

Hi, I have an interview at EY and I wanted to know what kind of questions can I expect in the 2 rounds following the screening call ? I was told the 2nd round will be with a panel of three people and if I move on to the next round then the 3rd will be a team based interview. I could really use some help.

Hi All,

Join birlasoft one month back, but didn't get any project yet. Till now gave two client round perform well in both but afterwards didn't get any kind of response from RMG. RMG people are also not too interactive, they hardly respond to the pings.

Feeling a bit uncomfortable now as in my 8years career it is happening the first time that I am idle for a whole month, also there is no one to interact with. This whole atmosphere is now making me loose my confidence.

Hi all
I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

"Everybody can be a leader" some say... "Leaders are nurtured not born" say others... True.

But... this is also true: "not everybody wants to be a leader" (whether they can or can't be). It is a fairly common practice in organizations with traditional career management structures for people to "be promoted" into leadership roles as the "end steps of the corporate ladder" that was climbed doing technical work. And, unfortunately, this doesn't work all the time

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale.
