What kind of medical insurance I'm going to get. It's one of my biggest concerns.
And the design of the plans, not just high level marketing benefits guides but the actual nitty gritty Summary Plan Descriptions. Which no one ever wants to give to prospective candidates.

If I had prior medical claims during the plan year, starting over with a new deductible is one.
Potentially different network of physicians/facilities is another.
New Prior Authorization for meds that I already take…possible exclusions of care under the new plan and needing to learn their ins & outs.
New plans means new IS Cards/Apps which means new forms to fill out with care providers (bleh).
What is gonna come out of my check. I don't think employers realize how pay needs to be much higher in order to afford some of these benefits.
I'm always worried about having a gap in coverage between jobs. It's so frustrating that in America, our healthcare is completely tied to our employment. So if there's a gap and I have a medical emergency? That could cost tens of thousands of dollars, if not completely bankrupt me. That's one reason I haven't switched jobs, even though I don't like where I'm at right now.
I'd recommend double checking when the insurance ends after you leave. End of the month is common but by no means a requirement. Last job I had cut the insurance on the last day and it was the 19th.
Retirement plans also give me a bit of heartburn. You've probably gotten used to your current employer's 401k match or whatever retirement goodies they offer. But will the new place be just as generous? Will they have different investment options? It's like venturing into the unknown financial territory.
Yup and the vesting period is something I am concerned about..most employers have that and it’s kinda of an informal agreement to stick with them even if you don’t like the place..
