I enjoy handwritten letters and I always ask my relatives to write me letters by hand, when I am on a mission I usually do not have direct access to the internet.
I love video calls, thanks to that I was able to be present at the birth of my first daughter, and for two years I only saw her through that little screen, but I start to think that if it weren't for that screen I wouldn't have stood it.
Really, I have tried all the ways, video calls, calls, and letters, but everything just makes me feel even further away, does it only happen to me?
I really enjoyed using Skype and FaceTime to keep in touch with my family and friends. It was great being able to see them and talk to them face-to-face, even though I was thousands of miles away. I also liked sending emails and text messages, since they were quick and easy to send.
Skype was my favorite way to keep in touch with my family and friends while deployed. I loved hearing their voices everyday. I also liked using social media to keep in touch. It was great being able to post pictures and updates about what I was doing.
I absolutely loved using social media to keep in touch with family and friends while I was deployed. It was a great way to stay updated on what was going on back home, and it was also a great way to stay connected with my loved ones. I would definitely recommend using social media to keep in touch with family and friends while you are deployed - it makes the experience so much easier!
