Crossroads Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. I have been with the organization almost 6 years and have accomplished achievement of my MSL (Masters Strategic Leadership) and LOVE the organization…BUT…I am not having any success in moving into a new position…my interviews are great experiences but it seems to be a pattern of not being selected yet encouraged to continue applying…received information from a mentor/manager to ask for candid feedback…when is enough…ENOUGH??

How do you know it’s time to leave a job?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Creating a shell “taxi” company that he billed his cab rides to, while sharing a ride home from airport with a colleague who would use their corporate card for the ride
Deloitte had to change their expense policy after my fraternity brother spent a fortune on a client dinner including several bottles each of Dom and Cristal. He topped off the dinner with Louis XIII and kept the bottle. He quit before they could fire him.
Someone thinking he could use the difference in cost for alternate travel to buy booze. As in, since it was cheaper than flying home, he thought he was entitled to use the surplus as he sought fit.
OP doesn't known what happened. That's why OP started this. To find out what kind of egregious expense abuses could lead to termination.
When I was in the military, the guy next to me in the barracks got kicked out for expensing a tattoo on his Government Travel Card while TDY
Someone expensed Hawaiian vacation for their whole family as business travel
How exactly does the company find out about these fraudulent charges? Like forging fake hotel receipts, especially if you use your personal credit card.
SA1 - that’s so common. I’ve met folks who lived 16 guys to a 2 bedroom. 8 in the living room. 4 to each bedroom. They slept on the floor with suitcase at the feet.
It was shocking
Con confirm what pwc2 said about the car. The person in question expensed the monthly payments for several years before getting caught.
D3 you should check up on that, from an earlier post I recall Deloitte does not allow expenses on Square
D3 I am also on the same boat. I've been using the same limo company for 7 years due to reliability and stability. They recently moved from manual paper voucher to square. Wonder if it will be an issue?

Uh @IBM1 do you guys not have any sort of wellness reimbursement policy? That would be covered at EY (well, 75% up to $500)
Here are a few:
1. Offshore dude was living in the us long term and technically shouldn’t be paid for housing but since client was paying we let him expense. So he was sharing a two bedroom apartment with another dude and when he left he Airbnb the room and made like 10k the housing company pinged us finding their property online- we had tinker them go
2. Partner expensed a weekend in Amsterdam full of MJ and stripper - no one got fired we alll partied hard!
3. Dude expensed his groceries for a year at Walmart when he was confronted he lied got fired and lost his visa and out of the county in less then a week
OP still hasn’t delivered 😂
Ok so the ppl who were fired from these stories...does anyone know where they are now? Did they get another job in consulting? Get an industry job? Barista at Starbucks?? So curious 🤔
This guy would buy bread/pb/j, and an amazon gift card for the rest of the daily per diem. He also signed up his wife for Uber and charged her when she picked him up from the airport. Got caught bc he told us we were chumps for not doing the same. Teammate finally reported him.
Either they were not flying that week or they would book again at a lower fare and keep the difference. Not sure how they got caught.. I can’t recall.
Not exactly sure- i know he’d been spoken too several time about it before they “counseled him out”. I think the client was getting pissed by it
