Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

A1, If you spent a decade in FAANG, why did you go back into consulting? Or did you go from consulting to faang?

Earn a lot for 3-5 years and move to the lively city.
Thats always how people plan, but things don’t always turn out how you plan it to be. One thing i learned in life is to take opportunities as they are, not what they can be. Who you are, what you prioritize, and the opportunities open to you differ as you get older.
Hahaha trust me, the latter doesn’t exist. Or have you seen a Morgan Stanley branch in a cold and very boring city?
Yea I agree with you. Companies like MS wouldn't have a reason to be in smaller cities except for ops / IT teams
It depends
I mean... both require 15 hour work days, so I’m not sure it really matters when you live 😅
