I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.

I would say financial or technology.
I say travel and hospitality
Financial for sure. Banking call centers often need help badly, thus job security. Tech on the other hand is rougher right now as it's constricting after explosive growth.
I never thought about this with banking, but that seems very true. I think another industry to look into is healthcare. Job security is pretty good in the health care sector and call center work is desperately needed there.
As far as pay? I would say for banks and airlines because they are absolutely essential so you easily negotiate raises
