Those averages from vanguard are misleading. Some people will have multiple 401k’s IRA’s etc
These are probably better.
Though as a professional you should probably be aiming higher
Of course the only thing that really matters is how much money YOU decide is enough, based on the lifestyle you choose to lead. There is no need to compare against others
Averages for this are terrible measures, as extremes distort it.
Also, a person who earns $400k a year and has $1M saved might be behind. But, someone earning $80k with $500k saved is probably ahead.

I’d say $300k. Based on what I’ve seen on Fishbowl, guessing most here would say more.
Wow..I didn't realize that was the average for each age group! I am glad me and my husband have 1.5m and we are both 50.

What is enough or average will likely depend on cost of living. If I compare myself nationwide, then I'm way above average. If I compare locally, I'm right on track.
