Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?
Providence Health & Services Anyone looking to exit to industry? OP - PwC base salaries are slightly lesser than Deloitte but our bonuses are bigger especially for Tier 1 & 2 performers. With that said, we had two comp raises in 2021 and will have two raises in 2022. So we will catch up with Deloitte (I hope) in terms of base salary as well.

Woof, thought I’d be missing out going to industry. Bonus this year my first year in industry was $35k haha don’t let people tell you that industry doesn’t pay! Plus I get an additional $15k a year in stock, was thinking I was lagging behind my consulting peers.

Lol idk many people with 3 YEO brining in $170k from B4, but thanks for lighting a fire for me SM1 haha
Hahahah….not even close at EY. M3 and got 8k last year being a “high performer”.
Hence why I’m leaving. Already have one offer and am expecting two more.

SA got 16K, promoted to M now
Depends on performance tier. Highest tier got 20-30% this year with next tier getting 10-15%.

At D? Prob 15k if lucky
Got 20k in promo year from M to SM
Dollar figure isn’t the best measure here given huge variability in salary by practice, YOE, etc. Better off comparing percentages.
15% VC would be average IMO
I got $22k as a t1 M2
M3 - 20k. Average performer.
As a manager (top performer) bonus was $42k a few years ago. As an SM, bonus was $52k last year.

I don't even know why we are having this convo - OP said they have 3 YOE and moved to industry. Seems they're just here to say "I make more than a big 4 manager". I don't understand this comparison stuff - comp isn't the only measure of success.

I call bullshit. The fact that it’s in healthcare is another reason it’s a red flag. HC is notorious in industry for underpaying.
M3 I got like $20K bonus this year

Midrange is probably $18-$30k
M1 - $25k

Got 18K
Uhhhhh. ~80k as a M1:)

Our firm just announced 5% increase across the board. So you can also add that to these numbers.
What is the percentage usually? Ik pwc has the 20% milestone but is that like also the typical range for the bonus
