Which business line?
Wow these are some crazy numbers... I’m thinking of leaving for 10k...
Yeah man, 20-30% unless you hate where you’re at or it’s a career move.
135 to 270
I’m curious, what’s the technology?
93k to 230k
47k (1st job out of undergrad in government) to 73k (consulting)
I would say the hardest part so far is just adjusting to the pace of work. Government was very “chill” in a sense and now coming to consulting, my first project is very high pressure with a lot of asks from the client. Also in government I felt like I had more responsibility but in consulting I’m just an Excel monkey
220 -> 390
Oooh I need to make this jump. Is that base or with sales/bonus?
55k to 160k. Pre to post mba.
Well that mba was worth it 😂
110 -> 180 🎉
Mind sharing? And years in between?
78k -> 115k -> 180k in 14 months
When I got the 180k offer I was 3 years in industry (14 months out of grad role, 18 months grad role) I had been offered and working a graduate role before finishing my undergrad, primarily due to some niche experience and running some projects.
I’ve improved on the 180k now as an associate director, just not quite the same percentage hike.
67k to 105k.
Nah. It was from a small firm to a big firm.
$120K to $165K. Switched from industry to consulting. Now need to jump back into industry with another bump — not sure how! 🤔
I’m wondering if this is possible I feel as though we are sometimes slightly overpaid or our salaries are inflated a bit to compensate for travel and long hours, which I know is not only inherent to professional services but would love to know the differences
55k to 100k
Gotta risk it to get the biscuit
61k-> 120k (not including equity)
65k >130k Service based firm to consulting.
$52 > $76
$76 > $115
$74k to $125k, pre and post MBA around 10 years ago. Biggest currently is $212k to $251k when I had some competitive offers and renegotiated. Other offers were $270k and $275k btw.
$74k up to $110k, consulting into industry
