Denver attorney here. It’s dependent on your practice area, but I generally think there’s a lot of opportunity if you have a few years of experience. Very large Federal Government practice here, so keep an eye out on USA Jobs if that interests you. Compensation packages are creeping up, but still a bit behind the pace rapidly growing cost of living.
Was applying for jobs in Denver pre-covid and hiring seems to be slowly picking back up again. Their UBE transfer process takes FOREVER though.

CO Attorney as well and agree with Attorney 1&2. I have been licensed here 15 years but bc I was a solo practitioner / contract atty for almost my entire career it has and continues to be EXTREMELY difficult to find a job now with a firm. My experience is so eclectic and it is actually a disadvantage here. I would suggest making your resume as tailored as possible to the positions you are applying for.

What is starting biglaw salary in CO? What do places like Brownstein pay first years? My trch company is opening an office but Im worried atty salaries are v. low compared to Bay Area, where I am.
I think BigLaw first years top out at 150 in Denver at places like Brownstein, Dorsey, Holland&Hart, etc. my info might be outdated though, it’s been a few years.
