JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte
Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Also be the interviewer. You’re trading time for opportunity make sure it’s a good one.
Look into feature/benefit sales. Don't just talk about your qualifications - talk about the value those attributes will deliver.
For example - don't just say "I have a degree in Finance and I am originally from this area"
say "One of the many useful things I learned while earning my degree in Finance is the intangible values that come with an established brand. In this case that is me; I am established here and have been since birth. Having family in this area means that I have a familiarity with the people, customs, and businesses which make this city great and can use that knowledge to help bring in busiess. That is what we all want, right?"
(btw - see what I did there? I asked a leading question that I know will be answered 'yes'. The more times you can get a person to say 'yes' in a meeting the better. Another trick is to ask questions that will prompt them to ask you for more info. Like, "Do you know the *real* reason why this city has a twilight festival every summer?" - the question is vague enough that there could be more than one answer - they will either say "why" or give an answer of their own. Then you either deliver the answer or tell them why their answer is profoundly correct. Boom. you are now an expert on that topic in their mind. )
Don't forget about the power of complements either. Not "thats a nice tie", maybe try, "I am real excited to be here today. Your company has such a great reputation as a top employer in this market and the fact that you give over $100,000 to the local United Way *every year* - well, you must be awfully pround of being a part of that. " Note that it means doing some homework and reconnisance beforehand.
Finally - don't be afraid to ask a closing question at the end. "I really appreciate the opportunity to talk with you today. I have several opportunities right now but this job is a perfect fit and I want it. What do we need to do to make it happen?"
... and dont forget to send a thank you note. Write it *immediately after* the interview and reference specific things which were discussed. "I was truly inspired when you mentioned your son attends Yale. The idea of working for a company where I could provide for my family in the same way someday is truly remarkable!"
Mail it the very next morning.
