What's the pay for a freelancer/contract at tech companies
(Apple, Meta, Google)
I have been a commercial editor at a post house in NYC for the past 10 years, so it's the only pay structure world I know. Salary draw, commission, etc.
There is a possibility that I might be pivoting to an in house editor at one of the tech companies in California.
Anyone have any first hand knowledge on 1. what a freelancer might get (is it by day rate?) and 2. what a staff editor might get salary-wise?
