What’s your best advice for staying awake /alert during 3+ hour calls, I’m struggling? I try to sip on ice water since I don’t drink coffee, but even though it works sometimes and I’ve never fallen asleep per se, you can tell I’m yawning more frequently and my eyes turn to slits once in awhile.

Recently stopped taking Concerta (after taking it for almost 2 years at varying doses) because it started having some negative effects on my heart rate. I'm getting started on Straterra and a little nervous because I've heard so many bad stories about it. I was super tired the first day I took it and so started taking it in the evenings. Anyone have any good Straterra experiences?

Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! I worked about a month of 19 hour days 2 years ago (this was the peak of the season where I worked at least 12 hours a day) and my facial skin hasn't really recovered and the experience really aged me.

Pregnant with my second and I have no will to work. I use to be passionate about my work, but now I m forcing myself to complete the bare minimum tasks needed from me. Not taking any proactive assignments.

I got out of my water drinking habit and finding it hard to build back up to 100oz + per day. I don’t like the fact I’ve added in drinks with fake sweeteners to get more fluid intake. I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?
