What’s your home office setup?

First year in consulting, is it worth purchasing a car this early? I’m living at home and about a 45 minute car ride away from my home office. Any suggestions? What have you done?

In an attempt to be healthier, I built a permanent standing desk. Now, once every couple hours my Apple Watch reminds me “it’s time to stand up” and I feel superior to all those chair sitters out there.

Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? I feel like I’ve looked everywhere (Steelcase, Herman Miller, humanscale, Haworth, xchair, etc).

Is there any one time home office setup allowance still provided for recent new joiners?

Friends please help me career growth in Salesforce. Currently I have 6.7 years experience in functional testing.
My company is giving opportunity to learn Salesforce and they will give projects based on that.

There should be more exotic vetenarian locations than what is offered. I owned a pair of lovebirds and finding affordable petcare within proximity of our home was fairly difficult.

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles. I make $4000/M after taxes and max 401K and spend about $2400 for all fixed costs (rent, utilities, etc). With roughly $1600 left, and with a strong goal of saving as much as I can, what are some recommendations on how I should allocate my money better. He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match.
