Oh yikes. I never respond to FYI emails. What is there to even say? The presumption is I got it and read it and know the info now. I’m sorry that happened to you!!

I think partner answered this question for you but if I was sending it I would be annoyed if you responded every time, I get enough emails. I’d respond to stuff that seems to require action with like “thanks, would you like me to take first pass at this?” etc.

Depends on what it is and who you are dealing with. The typical use of FYI is that is just something for you to have or see with no expectation of a reply. Some people use it to introduce something they want a response to, though. You have to feel it out.
