I have 4.5 years of experience in .net and angular in cognizant I'm working I got call from Genpact but In Genpact they are asking me join as lead consultant is it normal software engineer position or what any idea ..for only 4.5exp is it sufficient for lead consultant position.. firstly what is the responsibilities for lead consultant in GenpactGenpact
My current ctc is 13.8 lpa.Before scheduling L1 interview, HR told me for this role the maximum pay is between 13lpa and 5lpa.. I said ok.. and i have celared the interview as well. HR negotiation is pending. Now if i negotiate for a higher salary.. what will happen? Would they be able to go beyond 15lpa?Capgemini

Agree with ACD. Also - a lot of people are on PTO this week, I wouldn’t expect much action on job applications.
There might be other applicants who are even more perfecter than you.

There are so many reasons… they may have many applications, they may be waiting on others, people may be sick, etc. The only way to know is follow up if you really want to know. So many recruiters have ghosted me I don’t really think it’s worth worrying about… remember, you’re not the client - the company hiring is.
What if you’ve met all the senior clients, had great feedback and then everyone just goes radio silent. Professionalism and courtesy seems to have evaporated in our industry.
Yes I’m going through the same thing had all the interviews & feedback. Next step is supposed to be offer I was told but it’s usually the top 3 so I’m not holding my breadth
Ghosting is def popular in NYC they hype you up over a role have the initial 1:1 you send your resume then it’s chasing some might say role on hold and based on other bowls some are sending old ads to get resumes which makes sense as well when these roles are on hold or at least that’s what they tell you. I like company recruiters they seem more accurate & try to have integrity,
Yes a recruiter just called me to tell me a role is put on hold until Q1! I’m guessing this will happen as well it’s only 4 more working weeks till the new year!
