Particularly in situations where I’m applying to a role without an internal referral, I’m afraid my application will be filtered out automatically because I seemingly don’t have the basic education qualification of a JD.

How much a year should I ask for when interviewing to manage two sunglass huts one stand alone store one in Hudson’s Bay

Unable to decide to leave my current company. They are actively blocking my growth and I got an offer for a title promotion, but a significant pay cut. The new job offers $100k, 26 days pto, hybrid 2/3 remote, 37.5 hours a week. My current job (7yrs) offers $102k, 42 days pto, office optional 35 hrs a week. With the new job being in CT, the increase in taxes, 3x increase in insurance premium, and travel to and from, I am looking at $700 a month pay cut. Is career advancement worth $700 a month?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? Has anyone waived in to MN before as in house counsel? One of the requirements is actively practicing law for 36 of the last 60 months. I was in compliance for a number of years and am wondering if that will be a snag. I did perform legal functions but it mentions demonstrate evidence of and so I was just curious about any experience others may have had.

Made it to Amazon last round, and rejected. All I got was an email from the recruiter saying they didn't move forward. I just put in my two weeks to go to an AM 100 law firm to work in a niche practice area. I've never worked in a firm before. I started of doing compliance (non-attorney role) and then went in-house (acting GC for medium size company got a year). Any advice for someone who never had firm experience? If you went back to a firm what do you think you would have to prepare for? (Besides billiable hours and no life. ) Also, fwiw, I graduate in 2018.
