When do you know it’s the right exit op? I’ve been reasonably happy in consulting but I’ve had a recruiter reach out with an opportunity that would give me a 85%+ increase in comp. Sounds good, but the catch is that part of the comp is uncapped sales commission. Is it worth the leap?

Got an offer from Kantar Consulting to work on their retail/cpg product.
Currently working with IBM with 10+ yoe having joined IBM 10 months back. Currently at 25 lpa and getting an offer of 32 fixed+15% variable.

Now my question is - Is it worth the gamble to leave IBM and join Kantar consulting which btw is known for market research and not consulting.
Also would leaving IBM after 1 year look bad on CV?

Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative.
