Making $123,000. I’d like to max out Trad 401k, Roth 401k and After Tax. What percentages should I put in for each? And any other advice on investing/saving? Trying to have as little to spend as possible after savings. Expenses are roughly $1000 per month.

Hi, new to this bowl ☺️ I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to put my money, if not in a regular savings account? I’m so so grateful to have graduated from college over a year ago with no debt and I have minimal living expenses, so I’ve been able to save a lot. A percentage of my paycheck goes towards my company Roth 401K and company stocks, but I feel clueless about how to be smarter with my money and not let it ‘collect dust’ lol.

Need some wisdom on my potential error: I recently stopped contributing to 401k to put that money into paying down massive MBA debt instead. I know there are tax savings and money will grow at compound rate, but paying off debt that will severely limit my short term options is also important no? Also, I have a regular brokerage acct w/ Betterment that I'm treating like a 401k (won't touch it, will add to it eventually), but unlike 401k it provides liquidity if i need it. Thoughts?

What’s the best thing we can do to have that money work for her for the next 5 years until she can hopefully stop working? Is there any hope for us or will my partner and I end up supporting her?

If I max out my traditional 401k and have a mortgage interest deduction to against my w-2 taxes does it mean I can pay way less taxes than a average person who makes same amount salary as me?

Some states don’t tax distributions from retirement accounts (401k, IRA, etc)?? So if I contribute to a traditional 401k/IRA, I won’t pay any state taxes (no tax at both contribution and withdrawal)?
