When would taking a break between jobs get normalized in India. If one wants to take a break, he/she needs to figure out first how the gap would need to be explained to the next company.
"I took a break because I needed it for my mental health as the job can become quite stressful as the experience increases" should be an acceptable answer and the companies should stop low balling if a candidate is capable enough.

How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked. I’ve had a bad case of work anxiety ever since I started a new job ~7 months ago. The adjustment was ROUGH. I was making mistake after mistake. I powered through and somehow got glowing reviews at year end, with people saying I’ve moved past that point.

My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.
