When you look at a creative portfolio, what’s the line between “interesting personal projects” and “this person doesn’t have enough real client work”? I’m mid-career, and a lot of my favorite pieces are self‑initiated, and I’m worried that makes me look junior.

Tax Senior here. I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). I just got told they’re firing me. Should I expect severance? Have other people been fired for similar? What did you do with your career?

I've that the COE team is supposed to guide TCS employees on client end. However, I've also heard that as they do not generate any profits, TCS moves them to client side as soon as possible.
