These are all great cities and it just depends on what you want. I would encourage you to take a serious look at Minneapolis. I’ve spent a lot of time there through friends and family: lots to do, very diverse, low COL and very high QOL. Yeah, winters are rough though.
I’ve lived in both SD and DC. It really depends on what you’re looking for. SD is great if you’re into the laid back west coast lifestyle, beaches, outdoorsy activities. DC is great if you’d prefer a bigger city scene and the hustle and bustle.
Minneapolis by far. I’ve been to all of those cities many times. Happy to call MPLS my home. In Denver you’re literally working just to pay rent. Same in DC and Chicago. Just built a 4000sq ft house and my mortgage isn’t even $2k.
As a single male that has spent considerable time in these cities, from both a personal and professional perspective I'd say 1. Minneapolis, 2. Chicago, 3. Boston, 4. Denver, 5. San Diego
Chicago is great for single, young professionals. I think the downtown area gives you more value for your money than Boston.
👙🌞🏄🏼
San Diego man. You'll freeze your 🥜 off everywhere else. But the women in Chicago and Boston are quite nice. SD>Boston>Chicago>others
Lol M1 what's your issue with the others? I live in Boston and absolutely love it
C1 really? SD gets a lil boring sometimes tho. It's like a weird mix of retired people and college students.
San Diego is the best city in the country
Detroit.
Least desirable cities: Detroit, Philadelphia, Miami
SD, Denver close second, Chicago, the rest
Chicago is sucky to outsiders. Everyone is obsessed with the summer but it's hot and humid and gross. Everyone is from Iowa and Michigan and don't know what else there is. I'll tryna gtfo
Single male move to NYC
OP, depends on what you're looking for. Are you looking for a typical city with public transit, something close to the city where you can have a newer/larger apt? Proximity to airport? Beaches and mountains? Etc. etc. If you want a traditional city and want to walk/use transit, then it's Chicago or Boston. Looking for nicer weather to do outdoorsy stuff, then Denver or SD might be better. I think you pay more for Chicago and Boston but get a more traditional city experience (culture and diversity, transit). Lots of variables. Help us, help YOU!
I say Chicago
Miami!!!!
Philly. Great city. Underrated. About to explode. Buy a house while the market is low, enjoy the city for a few years, then rent or sell. Profit.
C1, please be quiet.
We have already established that Denver is FULL. OP needs to find another city. I hear SD and MPLS are great, OP!
C1... out of the gate with name calling? Okay. Well, dipshit, do you understand infrastructure? Do you understand that the layout of Denver's roads and highways are in many ways like those of Atlanta (e.g. not very well planned or thought out, and not capable of handling a huge population efficiently)? Have you ever been in traffic in Atlanta (spoiler: it's fucking terrible). So shut up and stop encouraging people to move here, dipshit. The pot growers have you covered on home values, or so you not understand that one either?
1. NYC
2. NYC
3. NYC
