Hi,
I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.
What do you all suggest, who have already opted for it?Accenture

Kpmg started me at 25 days and has a firm wide break around Christmas/New Years that is nominally 2 weeks(I think last year was a bit less).
Same, I’m happy with 25 days + holiday break, I actually have a hard time using all my PTO. If you work in CA it rolls over, too.
We have FTO (flexible time off). It’s a scam. People end up taking less vacation time and don’t get paid out when they leave the firm. We do not shut down during Christmas to NYE and we only have a few federal holidays
For most consultants who don't stay at firms for long and who are always struggling to find a decent break in schedule to take time off, not getting paid out negates the vague possible benefit of extra time off :/
We have 'Flexible PTO' - no formal cap on it. It's got it's plusses and minuses, but I think better than an allotted amount.
Prior to the change (2 years or so) - consultants had 4 weeks, managers and above had 5. Pretty standard 8-10 company holidays a year (in addition).
Oh - seeing other posts, we also shut down between Christmas and New Years.
ZS starts at 15 days, which doesn't increase until year 3. We get a few extra days off EOY, but not enough to have the entire stretch between Christmas and NYE off, which I find to be stingy. We don't get other days off like Presidents Day, so it ends up only being the standard 10 company holidays per year anyway.
1) Depends on the level, Navigant does discretionary time off for Managing Consultants and above... 2) I think, more importantly, is whether you’d actually be able to use the PTO/holidays when you want, or would you have to “focus on client delivery” and only take PTO when you’re on the beach...
Same as WM above on PTO days (and holidays) by level prior to the Discretionary Time Off.
ClearView Healthcare Partners’ policy is definitely less than ideal. You’ll be granted a bunch of federal holidays and 15 vacation days until your hit your 3 year where you get 18 then 19 on your 4 year and 20 on your 5 year after which you’re maxed out.
Not sure what you guys are talking about... it’s 10 sick days/year and PTO continuously accrues and caps at either 30 or 40.
Currently have 25 PTO and 10 sick days, but you can also go negative anyway so it doesn’t even matter.
Carryover is nice for payout or to save up for a mini-sabbatical, but in order to due that, you have to short change your vacations in years prior. IMO 15 days PTO is not much to start, so I'm finding it difficult to rollover anymore than a few days each year (not cummulative)
As for sick days, my offer letter stated 5 per year, which is what is reflected in workday for me as well. If it's 10, I'd be really happy with that!
Not sure if they changed the policy on sick days, but I know I’ve had 10 since starting.
I’ve also been working for years and literally never run into someone who was restricted in vacation because of our PTO policy - 3 full weeks a year is a lot of vacation outside of holiday; and you can always just not work and book time to general admin for the days that “technically” aren’t off (literally nobody will be working).
