Making himself at home in my home office!

The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?

A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

I got a chair for you 😉

Herman Miller Aeron C
Consider gaming chairs too, I have one and it’s honestly been amazing
Got a secret lab this year and it’s fantastic
I’m not sure on the tall part but steelcase and Herman Miller and a couple others are great. I have a bad back so I know entirely too much about chairs. Also you can get them cheap on Craigslist because people sell them when an office moves or closes. I bought 3 steelcase chairs for $40 each. I think they cost $400 plus retail. I’m still not sure why I bought 3 lol
Pretty much any office chair? I suppose you could have a freakishly long torso and require an extra tall back, but that would leave you with tiny dangling legs over the seat
Nah normal desk chairs suck when you are 6’2’. I got a chair from sams club built for people 6ft and up
Follow up question: is it okay to buy off of Facebook marketplace?
If you live in a major metro area look for used office furniture stores - there is one in DC which has all the major brands (Herman Miller, steelcase, Bodybilt, etc) for sub $500 lightly used
I’m not tall but have long legs. I got a surprisingly comfortable chair from IKEA 6 years ago and still love it (and it’s height adjustable). I know they have a few options for office chairs, so I would go to a store and test them out.

Secret Labs XL is hard to beat as a tall guy
